Invitation to a series of lectures with Anna Kobierecka – 20-22 April 2026

The School of Political Sciences, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki invites you to a series of lectures by Anna Kobierecka, University of Lodz, Department of Theory of Foreign Policy and Security Studies, Poland. The lectures will take place within the framework of the Erasmus+ Academic Staff Mobility Programme.The programme is as follows:

Anna Kobierecka, PhD, is an assistant professor at the University of Lodz, Department of Theory of Foreign Policy and Security Studies at the Faculty of International and Political Studies. She received her PhD in 2013, with a dissertation on Swedish immigration and integration policy. Her research focuses on public diplomacy, nation branding, and the international image of states, with particular attention to soft power and foreign policy communication. Her work examines how states construct and manage their international reputation, including analyses of Sweden’s public diplomacy during the COVID-19 pandemic, China’s “vaccine diplomacy” as a tool of foreign policy, Polish health diplomacy. Dr. Kobierecka has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications in national and international journals and has contributed to research on issues such as public diplomacy, health diplomacy, sports diplomacy, migrations.
