Paolo Segatti | ISPI

Paolo Segatti has been Professor of Political Sociology at the Department of Social and Political Science, University of Milan. His research deals with political behavior, public opinion, national and European identity, and democratic representation. He authored or edited several books, among which Religious Voting in Western Democracies (with J.R.Montero and K.Calvo, OUP, 2023), L’apocalisse della democrazia italiana (with H. Schadee and C. Vezzoni, Il Mulino Bologna, 2019), La rappresentanza politica alle elezioni del 2013 (with A. Di Virgilio, Il Mulino, Bologna, 2016), European Identity in the Context of National Identities (with B. Westle, OUP, 2016). His work has appeared in European Journal of Political Research, Italian Political Science Review, Political Psychology, South European Society and Politics, Journal of European Public Policy, Research in Social Stratification and Mobility, and Stato e Mercato.
